Covid-19 is the new C-word. It’s changing the way we live and especially how we work. Zoom and Google Hangout have replaced the office meeting room and for most people, stepping in front of their webcam adds a whole new layer of stress to turning up for a meeting.
There’s something about being on camera that makes people self-conscious- even if it’s for co-workers who see them every day. Let’s face it, there’s nothing like seeing yourself on screen under those nasty kitchen downlights to really rattle your confidence.
Nailing your virtual performance can feel tricky but it’s not impossible
Through this course I’ll give you tips to set up your home office and help you look good on camera with advice on lighting, a few technical hacks and some cheeky tips to impove your presentation.
I’ll also give you my personal strategies to boost your confidence and calm your nerves, the dos and don’ts of running a virtual meeting and a few extra tools to keep your mental health in good shape.
We’re all carrying a lot of extra anxieties right now. But having to step in front of your webcam for work doesn’t have to be one of them.
